Driving a Golf Cart - Path and Fairway Etiquette

August 27th, 2007 · No Comments

Golf carts can do a great deal of damage to the golf course and make the course very unsightly and create conditions for golfers that are not enjoyable to play from. Each golf course will generally have their own rules in regard to driving around the golf course which you need to familiarize yourself with if you intend to drive a cart during your round of golf. General guidelines that apply to all golf courses is keeping the golf carts about 30 feet away from hazards, greens and tee boxes. Keep all 4 wheels on the path when parking near greens and tee boxes. For an animated video from the USGA explaining golf cart etiquette, Click Here.
