Golf Instruction Tip: Felicia is on the Fairway at Newcastle with Dave Butterfield with a tip on improving your chip shot. Put the golf ball on the instep of your back foot. The clubface aims at your target. Lead the shaft over your front knee and put 75% of your weight on your front foot. Don’t use any wrist action during the swing and the stroke is a little more rapid than a regular swing. Gary Player talked about hitting a chip shot the same way you light a match. You don’t side it slowly, you strike it rapidly.
