*2 of 2 Drill to Correct Spacing for Swing Power

June 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Golf Instruction Tip by Brady Riggs: This is a good drill to help you get the feel of the proper angle of the club in relation to the arms during the takeaway and the downswing to generate power. It’s correct to have a shallower angle on takeaway and increase the angle during the downswing. If you have a steep angle on the takeaway, the angle will decrease on the downswing and lose leverage and lose power.
