Here are some great golf tips to help you have more success and fun when playing golf with strong headwinds.
1. Remember “Balance & Control”. By maintaining your balance, you’ll have better control. Use a slightly wider stance and get a little lower in your athletic position.
2. Be wise in your club selection. For every 10 mph of wind that you are hitting into, add atleast 1 or possibly 2 clubs.
3. Swing at a smoother controlled pace with a more compact swing and a more sweeping angle. Also use a shorter backswing and followthrough. These tips will apply less spin keeping the ball lower to the ground and allow the golf ball to penetrate the wind better giving you more distance and not allow it to be blown off course as much.
