When you find your golf ball on the putting green against the fringe, you could putt, chip, or blade it. Using a wedge and blading it could improve your chances of hitting an acceptable shot instead of taking a chance with a putter and making a poor shot.

1. Grip your wedge like a putter.
2. Use a narrow slightly open stance.
3. Put the golf ball in the middle of your stance.
4. Hit the golf ball in the middle or belly with the blade.
