In this golf instruction video, Joe talks about how the hybrid has replaced the long irons (1-4) because they are easier to hit because of the additional mass in the head, and they hit a higher trajectory shot and land softer on the green.

1. Place the ball forward in your stance where you would for a long iron.
2. Use your same swing as for a long iron.
3. Hit down on the ball the same way as you would for an iron shot.
