Scoring with your Sand and Gap Wedge

September 7th, 2007 · No Comments

This tip shows you how to make better ball contact with your gap and sand wedge for better distance control.
1. Weight 60% on front foot.
2. Keep it simple and don’t feel like you have much of a weight transfer to the back foot. Keep the weight toward the front foot throughout the swing.
3. Rotate the body facing the chest and hips toward the target.
4. Use a shorter backswing, and followthrough making it easier to get everything put together for accuracy.
