In order to have a better chance at hitting the golf ball correctly whenever the golf ball is on uneven ground and one of your feet is higher than the other, you want to change your spine angle to more closely match the angle of the ground so that your swing path more closely matches the angle of the ground. Roger uses the illustration of leaning your spine the same direction the Eiffel Tower would lean if it were sitting on that ground where your golf ball is. Also, the more you have to tilt to match the ground, the wider you need to make your stance to maintain your balance and not tip over.
